Moratorium Vote Update

It sounds as if the vote which was scheduled for the week of December 13 has now been pushed back to the week of December 21. According to the information we received, the Legal Division of Ukraine has recommended that the bill NOT be passed because it conflicts with other areas of the Family Code which are not being changed. There is also a large push to make sure that any legislation would specifically allow the continued adoption of special needs children that are waiting here in Ukraine and have no chance of being adopted in their own country. Please continue to pray that the best interests of these waiting children are maintained! There are many families out there who are earlier in the process than we are and anxious to bring their little ones home, too.
