Will tomorrow be the day? Say a prayer!

The SDA (children's authority in Ukraine) only accepts dossiers on Thursdays. So... we are praying that tomorrow will be the day that our dossier is submitted. What does that mean? Basically, our petition to adopt and all the supporting documentation are presented to the Ukraine government. Once we are submitted, we should receive notice of our appointment date within a couple of weeks. We will probably travel 2-3 weeks after that. This is what I would ask you to pray for:

• Dossier submission tomorrow (Thursday) - Ukraine is 8 hours ahead of us, so if you happen to be reading this at midnight here - it will be 8am Thursday in Ukraine!
• Rapid response from the SDA with our appointment date.
• An appointment at the SDA in Kiev the week of November 15 or sooner.

I know that I am asking a lot of God. But, I also know that He moves mountains and He is capable of providing all of the above. I'm hopeful that if we can get an appointment with the SDA by November 19, it is possible we could be home before Christmas with our little one. His timing is perfect so if it doesn't happen, I trust that there is a reason. But, a girl can always hope! Plus, I know there is a certain "Nana" who would love to have another grandbaby to love on as soon as possible.  :~)
